Our Environmental Obligation
Reduce:
- Oscoda Plastics reduces the amount of vinyl in our nation's landfills by six million pounds annually.
Reuse:
- Samples sent to distributors or architects can be returned to Oscoda Plastics at no charge to be used again.
- Flooring from tradeshows is returned to Oscoda Plastics to be recycled back into PROTECT-ALL®, used in the training room, or donated.
- Water used to cool the extruders is used in a closed-looped process.
- Post Installation Construction Waste.
Recycle:
- 100% pre-consumer recycled content is used in PROTECT-ALL Commercial Flooring.
- Most paper used is recycled.
- Used ink cartridges are refilled.
- All used materials during training are recycled back into PROTECT-ALL flooring.
- All pallets, screws, cardboard, and metal components are recycled.
